“At least four artists out of the 37 inducted as United States Artists Fellows this year work in the medium of ceramics… This year’s inductees were chosen from a pool of more than 400 applicants…  The organization states that it has awarded more than $20 million over the lifetime of the program, the idea being to help artists realize new creative opportunities through financial support.”

Micheline Gingras & Raymon Elozua in “Made in Mountaindale”

On Saturday, August 8th from noon to 4, Raymon Elozua and Micheline Gingras welcomes the public to the Grocery Story Gallery in Mountaindale, NY. The show consists of a series of 12 life-size, collage figures by Micheline Gingras titled, “What is a Clown?” which float directly on the walls, and a second series by Raymon Elozua, “R&D Sculptures,” made of metal, glass, and glazed terra cotta.
