EDUCATION

1977    Graduated from Higashiyama High school, champion of table tennis
1982    Graduated from Hosei University, Literature faculty
1985    Completed Course at The Kyoto Prefectural Ceramics Technical Institute
1986    Completed Course at The Kyoto Municipal Institute of Industrial Research
1994    Received Kyoto City Emerging Artist Award
2002    Master of Design and Applied Arts awarded, Edinburgh College of Art
supported by the Japanese Ministry of Culture Overseas Study Grant
2003    Master degree of Design and Applied Course、Edinburgh College of Art,
Inglis Allen Masters of Design Award
