RON NAGLE

Ron Nagle (born 1939) has been active in the art world since the 1960s, first in Los Angeles and then the Bay Area of California. He is internationally known for his exquisite, intimate ceramic forms based on recognizable objects such as cups, inkwells, and perfume bottles that use layers of glaze and contrasting textured surfaces. Nagle was featured in the 2013 Venice Biennale and was the subject of a 2014 thirty-year career survey exhibition at the San Diego Museum of Art.
