Leslie Ferrin

In addition to her role as Ferrin Contemporary Founder and Director, Ferrin co-owns with sculptor, Sergei Isupov, Project Art in a mill-turned-artspace in Cummington, MA.  Author of Teapots Transformed, and the gallery blog, Ferrin is frequently found leading tours, traveling to exhibitions, fairs and behind the scenes in private and public collections – follow along on instagram.

Alexandra Jelleberg
Gallery Associate, Artist in Residence

Alexandra Jelleberg is Associate Director at Ferrin Contemporary, as well as artist in residence at Project Art. Before arriving in Massachusetts, Alexandra was a resident artist at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts in Newcastle, ME and Assistant Curator of Education at the Arizona State University Art Museum and Ceramic Research Center. Her specialty in contemporary ceramic art is paired with her collection management, arts administration, and project coordination background.

Jess Detweiler
Gallery Associate, Artist in Residence

Jess Detweiler comes to Ferrin Contemporary from Alfred, NY. A Pennsylvania native, her background is in contemporary ceramic art, studio pottery, and arts management. She holds a BFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.


Donald Clark
Archivist + Appraiser

Donald Clark

Drawing from over 30 years of experience through Ferrin Gallery, P!NCH, and as an avid collector himself, Clark is a trained appraiser specializing in ceramics and studio craft. Author and regular contributor to TheCraftsReport, Clark’s current project is as the manager for The Marks Project, an online searchable database, documenting the marks of makers working in America from 1946–present.

Dan Farrell


For over two decades, Dan Farrell has worked closely with hundreds of specialists and experts in all fields of art, antiques and collectibles as consulting producer of the PBS program Antiques Roadshow. A member of Appraisers Association of America (AAA) , Farrell is also a well known specialist in publishing and distribution of fine art books and catalogs.

Peter Held


Peter is principal owner of Peter Held Art Appraisals & Associates, a national client-oriented full-service personal property firm specializing in modern and contemporary art and fine craft appraisals. In the course of his impressive three-decade career as a museum director and contemporary art curator, he has organized more than 200 exhibitions and authored numerous books and articles on contemporary art and craft.
